Joe Biden’s only condition for canceling his candidacy

US President Joe Biden, assailed by questions about his mental acuity after a disastrous debate with Donald Trump, spoke of the only condition that could push him to cancel his candidacy.

The president affirmed in an excerpt of an interview broadcast this Wednesday, July 17, that he would reevaluate his candidacy if he were diagnosed with a medical problem.

“If I had a medical problem that appeared, if someone, doctors came to see me and said to me: ‘You have such and such a problem,” he replied, questioned Tuesday by the television channel BET on this which might make him think about throwing in the towel.
