Hoodlums kill farmer in Ogun

Assailants have killed a maize farmer at his farm in the Odomosibi area of Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State, Nigeria, according to reports.

The victim’s family grew worried when the victim did not return from his farm after leaving early morning.

The search party was shocked to find his lifeless body on the farm, with severe machete cuts on his neck and other parts of his body.

A search party was dispatched to comb his farm and the surrounding area.

The corpse had been taken to the hospital for autopsy and noted that the investigation was still ongoing.
