An officer died in a robbery incident in Ahodwo, a suburb of Kumasi in Ghana’s Ashanti region, according to reports.
In a statement, the Service said the incident occurred around 1 am Thursday, June 27.
The death of the officer has been announced by the Ghana Police Service.
The identity of the deceased Policeman is however not immediately known.
Details of the incident also remain sketchy.
