The Nigerian Air Force has neutralized 80 terrorists during an air operation against terrorists in Katsina State, northern Nigeria.
Edward Gabkwet, the army spokesman, announced in a written statement on Wednesday the neutralization of numerous terrorists as part of the Hadarin Daji operation carried out in the Faskare area on June 15.
During these operations, 80 terrorists were killed and many others captured.
He also reported that numerous vehicles and bunkers were destroyed during the operation, and that dozens of important weapons and ammunition were seized.
Nigeria has recently been confronted with attacks by terrorist organizations Boko Haram and armed gangs in various parts of the country.
