Housewife kills husband with pestle over side chick

A housewife has been accused of killing her husband over alleged infidelity in at Akungba Akoko in Akoko North East Local Government Area, Ondo State, Nigeria.

“The suspect used a pestle to smash her husband’s head while he was asleep in their residence,” according too reports.

The couple had been living together for more than seven years with three children.

“There had been a misunderstanding between the couple over allegations of infidelity particularly against the man. His housewife had been accusing him of not being faithful in the marriage by keeping a side chick,” reports stated.

“The victim’s wife reported the incident at the police, claiming that unknown assailants killed her husband in the midnight,” Spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, confirmed.

The PPRO said no arrest had been made over the incident.

“I can’t confirm that the victim’s wife killed him because it was the woman, the complainant of the incident, that reported the matter at police station. We have not made any arrest, but investigation has begun into the incident,” she added.
