Mike Tyson defeated by Jake Paul on judge’s decision

Heavyweight legend Mike Tyson was defeated by youtuber turned boxer Jake Paul in an exhibition style professional fight on Friday in Arlington, USA.

In Arlington, Texas, 27-year-old Jake Paul dominated 58-year-old Mike Tyson, winning by unanimous decision (80-72, 79-73, 79-73).

Against a retreating Tyson, the young boxer confirmed his superiority in a fight that could mark the end of the former heavyweight champion’s career.

Mike Tyson hadn’t fought professionally for almost twenty years. After a good start, he was largely dominated by Jake Paul, who won by unanimous decision after eight two-minute rounds.

“It’s such an honor, Mike Tyson is a legend, the greatest in history, he inspired me. It was very tough as expected,” hailed Jake Paul.

“I’m happy, I don’t have to prove anything to anyone but myself, I was happy with what I was able to do,” commented Mike Tyson.
