A 29-year-old woman killed her 35-year-old husband in Abuakwa-Abakomadi, in Ghana’s Ashanti region, according to reports.
According to the suspect, “she committed the crime following an argument over her alleged infidelity.”
“The deceased had received several threats upon his return from a business trip,” reports said.
“The deceased was warned to leave the marriage as his wife’s infidelity was creating problems for him, but he ignored the advice,” a brother of the deceased claimed.
During the argument, the couple suffered stab wounds, but the husband succumbed to his injuries and lost his life.
The suspect is currently undergoing treatment at Suntreso Government Hospital, while the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) mortuary awaiting autopsy.
