Liverpool: a player wants to leave the club

Caoimhin Kelleher, one of the players Liverpool are counting on to shine in the Premier League and Europe this season, is nevertheless considering leaving the club to find more playing time in other colors.

At the age of 25, the Liverpool back-up goalkeeper is keen to take his career to the next level, and is no longer content with his role as understudy.

He’s ready to take on new challenges and has publicly expressed his desire to leave to cash in on his talent elsewhere. However, the situation is not entirely under his control.

“I’ve made it clear over the last few years that I want to leave Liverpool to be a club’s number one goalkeeper.”

“Sometimes, from the outside, it looks like maybe it’s 100% my decision to stay, but maybe you have to think that sometimes it’s not always in the players’ hands,” said Liverpool’s stand-in keeper.
