Native doctor killed client while testing bulletproof charm

A 19-year-old self-proclaimed native doctor has been arrested for shooting his client to death while testing a bulletproof charm he had prepared in Edo State, Nigeria.

The incident occurred after the native doctor who specializes in creating charms against firearms and cutlasses, attempted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the charm on his client.

According to SP Moses Joel Yamu, spokesperson for the State Police Command, the shooting took place when the deceased, seeking protection, visited the native doctor to obtain a bulletproof charm.

The native doctor tested the charm’s efficacy by shooting the victim with a gun, resulting in fatal injuries.

The victim was immediately rushed to Ifejola Hospital in Igarra, where he was pronounced dead by a medical doctor.

The suspect was subsequently arrested by operatives from the Igarra Division.

SP Yamu confirmed that the suspect will face prosecution once the investigation into the incident is completed.
