A little after three o’clock in the morning, this May 24, the prosecutor demanded against him 10 years in prison for rape or 5 years for corruption of youth. The deliberation is expected on June 1.

The one who is a candidate for the presidential election of 2024 denounces a plot of power to remove him from the political game.

According to the electoral code in Senegal, “an individual in absentia” cannot be registered on the electoral lists: it is therefore the eligibility of Ousmane Sonko for the presidential election of 2024 which is at stake.
