29 fishermen killed during a fishing trip in Nigeria

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have killed fishermen as they were fishing in the Lake Chad region in Borno State, Nigeria.

“The fishermen were killed while on fishing and wood-cutting activities by terrorists riding on motorcycles,” the local government area confirmed.

“The terrorists started shooting sporadically killing 29 while seven others barely escaped with degrees of injuries,” report said.

“The terrorists asked the victims to lie down using their fishing net and wrapped the victims before they started torturing them”.

“After they became unconscious, they opened fire on them and killed all 29 of them,” report said.
