A four-year-old child died in England on Tuesday after being attacked by a dog, several British media reported, including Sky News.
Police officers were called by emergency services to intervene in Milton Keynes (Buckinghamshire) in the south-east of the country. They were informed that a dog had attacked a child in the garden of a property. The young girl died shortly after the events.
The dog, whose breed was not disclosed, was shot dead by police officers for public safety reasons. No other victim is to be deplored and the family of the dead child is receiving psychological support.
No arrests have yet been made by law enforcement.
