A 67-year-old man arrested for drug trafficking

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested a blind 67-year-old man and a leper for drug trafficking in Sokoto village, Owena Ijesa, Atakumosa East LGA, Nigeria.

The old man was caught with 234 kilogrammes of cannabis, said the Director, Media and Advocacy, NDLEA

“In Osun State, NDLEA officers took into custody a blind 67-year-old man, in whose house they found 234kg of cannabis at Sokoto village, Owena Ijesa, Atakumosa East LGA,” said in statement.

“The drug dealer kept the consignment with him for a fee of N6,000 per month and paid for three months upfront,” he added.

He noted that 45-year-old leper, notorious for drug dealing, was arrested at Garko town, Kano, while 2.2kg of cannabis and various quantities of diazepam and exol were recovered from him.
