Morocco: French woman killed by a pack of stray dogs

A French tourist died Tuesday of her injuries after being bitten by stray dogs in a resort in western Sahara, southern Morocco, local authorities said on Wednesday.

The victim, 44, whose identity was not disclosed, was attacked by a pack of stray dogs while walking away from her hotel in the town of El Argoub, the same sources said.

An investigation has been opened by the gendarmerie, under the supervision of the prosecutor, to clarify the circumstances of this incident, the local authorities added.
