Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a speech in the capital Moscow on Monday, pledged to provide arms to Africa to help it fight against insecurity and terrorism.
Russia is more determined than ever to consolidate its close relations with the African continent.
On the occasion of the opening of the international military and technical forum army 2022 held on August 15, Vladimir Putin promised that his country will provide military support to African continent in its fight against terrorism.
“Russia sincerely values its historical, friendly and stable relations with Africa, Asia, and Latin America. It is ready to offer its partners and allies the most modern armaments,” said the Russian President.
“I am convinced that we will be able to ensure the safety and stability of our countries and whole world by combining our efforts and potential,” he added.
