Government in Zimbabwe has reimposed a lockdown and mandatory quarantines for all travellers amid rising Covid cases in order to curb the spread of the Omicron variant.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa reimposed a curfew from 21:00 to 06:00 local time and said international travellers will be required to be tested on arrival and to quarantine at a state-designated facility all at their own cost.
All businesses will be required to close at 19:00.
The measures will be reviewed in a fortnight.

The country has so far recorded a total of 135, 000 cases inclunding 4 707 deaths.
