The US billionaire had previously indicated he would make investments worth $ 1 billion during an event with Prince Charles on Monday.
“We must conserve what we still have, we must restore what we have lost and we must cultivate what we need to live without degrading the planet for future generations,” he says.
“Two-thirds of the land in Africa is degraded, but it can be reversed. Restoration can improve soil fertility, increase yields and improve food security, make water more reliable, create jobs and stimulate economic growth, while sequestering carbon. “
The founder also called for the protection of our world.
