Germany: a nurse accused of giving saline solution instead of Pfizer vaccine

A Red Cross nurse gave nearly 8,600 people in Germany, saline solution while her mission was to administer them Pfizer vaccines. The events took place in a vaccination center in Schortens-Roffhausen in East Frisia (Lower Saxony).

In total, nearly 8,600 people did not receive one of the two doses of the vaccine.

Although the saline solution is safe for the human body, most of those affected received it between March and April, when vaccination was only reserved for the elderly and frail. These 8,600 people, most of them over the age of 70, thus did not have sufficient immunity to protect them against severe forms of the disease.

According to the police officers in charge of the investigation, the motivations of the nurse whose name has not been made public are currently unclear but several of her publications on social networks have expressed her skepticism about the vaccination.

The nurse’s act, silent in front of investigators, would likely be deliberate. It is not yet known whether the nurse has since been indicted.
