AstraZeneca vaccine ‘safe and effective’ in UK

After vaccinating 11 million people in the UK with the Astrazeneca vaccine, health authorities do not identify serious side effects.

The UK has no serious side effects from injections of its AstraZeneca vaccine, said the authorities.

“We’ve been clear that it’s both safe and effective… and when people are asked to come forward and take it, they should do so in confidence,” Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s official spokesman told reporters.

Almost 11 million people have received at least one injection of these injections. The British Drug Agency recalled that there was no evidence on the link between the vaccine and the formation of blood clots in a few patients.
